United Kingdom

CIPD

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) champions better work and working lives by setting professional standards for HR and people development, as well as driving positive change in the world of work. CIPD is the career partner of choice for more than 150,000 members around the world.

AIHR is NOT an official partner with CIPD.

However, to obtain a designation, HR Professionals need to be approved on different assessments divided by Unit Summaries (Unit Summaries are the different roles/activities HR professionals are responsible for).

To be successfully approved in one Unit, they need to do well on their assessment and also provide proof of a certain number of study hours (usually, it's required a combination of 20 hours provided by an accredited institution, which we're not, and an additional 20 hours of self-directed learning activities in order to prepare for the assessment).

So, although we're not an approved provider, CIPD members can still use our courses to better prepare for the different assessments and use it as a self-directed learning activity (which does not need to associate with an approved provider).
