How to claim your SHRM and HRCI Credits

After you've completed the program and passed the capstone, you'll unlock the "Wrap Up" section of your program.

In this section, go to "SHRM & HRCI Credits" to find everything you need, including:

  • The program’s ID number
  • The number of credits awarded

When you log your PDCs with SHRM and HRCI, submit this as a self-paced activity without using the activity code. This allows you to edit the end date to reflect the actual date you completed the program.

How to Submit Your Credits

For SHRM:

  1. Log in to your SHRM certification portal.
  2. Go to "Add PDCs" under your recertification dashboard.
  3. Choose "Self-Paced Learning" as the activity type.
  4. Manually enter the program details, including the title and number of PDCs.
  5. Leave the activity ID field blank to allow for date editing.
  6. Enter the end date as the date you completed the program.
  7. Save and confirm your entry.

For HRCI:

  1. Log in to your HRCI account.
  2. Go to "My Recertification" and select "Report Credits."
  3. Choose the appropriate credit type.
  4. Enter the program information manually.
  5. Do not enter an activity ID to ensure you can adjust the completion date.
  6. Use the actual date you finished the program as the end date.
  7. Submit your entry for review.
