Known Regional Payment Restrictions

Further information and solutions for known regional payment restrictions

As we offer payment options for learners around the world, some regional-specific restrictions may apply during checkout.

Below is more information around specific regional restrictions that have been brought to our attention and are currently working with our learners to resolve.

Jump to your region:

  1. Nigeria
  2. Indonesia

If your region is not listed, you can find more information on resolving payment issues here.

Nigeria - International Spending Limitation

Many Nigerian banks have reduced the total international spending limit to no more than the equivalent of US$100 per month.

This may not be the case with every bank and we recommend reaching out to your financial institution to understand the specific limitations that apply to you.

When this restriction applies to you, please contact our Support Team Directly, and we would be happy to work with you towards a solution for your enrollment.

Indonesia - "Exotic Currency"

We do offer Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) as an official currency for checkout. However, IDR is defined as an Exotic Currency, and when making international transactions many financial institutions will require you to use a foreign currency for checkout instead of IDR.

This may not be the case with every bank and we recommend reaching out to your financial institution to understand the specific limitations that apply to you.

When this restriction applies to you, please contact our Support Team Directly, and we would be happy to work with you towards a solution for your enrollment.

Note: This is not the only regional limitation for Indonesia, click here to find out more about video playback restrictions that may apply to you.
